Universal Design Works for Everyone, CMT Spring Kick-Off Walk

Where to meet CMT & AARP: Shrewsbury MetroLink Station, 7201 Lansdowne Ave; St. Louis, MO 63119  

Meeting time:  9:10 am  (Train leaves at 9:19 am)

Length of Walk: 2.2 miles, approximately 2 hours long.

Walk Capacity:  25 people

Join CMT and AARP for a tour of the 6 North Apartments.  This building is the first fully universally designed, mixed-income, multi-family property in the U.S., developed and managed by McCormack Baron Salazar. “From the street to the unit, and all that comes between, universal features are apparent in the 80 units in the heart of the Central West End of St. Louis. See streetscape, lobby, parking, community space, fitness center, live/work units-all seamlessly incorporating universal features! (http://udsummit.net/home/registration/tours)”  The group will meet at the Shrewsbury MetroLink for a brief welcome and introduction, take the train to the Central West End Station and then walk 1.1 miles to the apartments on 4055 Laclede Ave.
